Why do your packages cost so much?

Believe it or not, this is the most common question I receive, and I always answer the same way. I'm actually relatively inexpensive compared to some of the other bands and DJ's around town. In Portland a top-notch full 6-8 piece wedding band can run you easily $5-10,000. Aside from that, something you study your whole life should never come cheap! :) I started playing music when I was five, began getting paid for it at 17, and haven't looked back. As you can see from my reviews (over 50 5-star reviews throughout the internet), what I do I do very well. When you are putting an important day in the hands of a musician, I think it's dangerous to try to find the best "deal".
